Colors

The color system is designed to meet the AA standard contrast ratios of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. This makes things easier to find, identify, and interact with. It also makes the entire experience more accessible to users who are colorblind or have low vision.

In the case of Appoint Customers we allow customers to submit their own color palettes. Our product adapts intelligently and flexibly to meet the different needs and preferences of our customers.

Colors have assigned roles that have a specific meaning based on how they function within the interface.
Defined color roles make it easy to modify and customize later.

Primary palette

The main palette consists of neutrals, white, blue. These colors distinguish our brand and help us create consistent experiences across all Appoint channels.

Secondary palette

The secondary or semantic palette is made up of green, yellow and red. Semantic color helps users find people, identify states, view actions, locate help, and understand next steps. The consistent use of color keeps the cognitive load low and creates a unified and engaging user experience.

Extended palette

The expanded palette consists of all usable tints and shades of each color in the palette. They are all numbered for easy reference. The use of these colors varies by touch point, but they are useful for illustrations and product components.
